How does disrupt hackathon work

Registered participants are required to submit a second video to pitch a problem. For team participation - one representative can pitch a problem. For the remainder of Week 4, participants will be given the option to either resubmit their video for innovative solutions that are in direct response to the problems stated or stick to what they have previously submitted. Teams will be added into their respective groups using Microsoft Teams - a platform that will be used for project management and communication purposes between their groups and mentors.

Teams are expected to start working on their idea and come up with a prototype with the help of their mentors. PITCHING 22 nd November Pitching will be held on-site, where the finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas and present their prototypes in front of judges. The winners will have the opportunity to collaborate and partner with BSM into further developing their business idea if applicable. Opportunity to reshape and innovate the world! BSM Disrupt is more than a competition, it brings together unique tech and ideas to life.

Teams from across the globe can submit their most impressive hacks. Sign up for the Hackathon right now , and start creating today. In previous Disrupt Hackathons, teams had only 24 hours to work their magic. But when you call for thousands of worldwide competitors to join the fun, well, you gotta give them a bit more time. Our expert judges will review, evaluate and score every eligible submitted hack.

From that group, the top 30 teams will exhibit their hacks in our Hackathon Demo area at Disrupt SF to over 10, attendees and a separate panel of judges who will determine the 10 teams that get to demo their creation on The Next Stage. Building and competing in the Hackathon is free.

We release batches of tickets in posts on TechCrunch. We generally do this on different times and on different days each time to allow people with all sorts of schedules a fair shot at tickets. Bring a jacket, as these venues always tend to get a bit cold especially if you keep coding through the night.

You might want to bring an Internet tethering device just in case the network gets wonky. Something awesome. Anything that breaks our rules , or goes against our events-wide anti-harassment policy.
